koh haa lagoon: this dive site is in the center of the koh haa group and a ideal place for beginners and courses thanks to the shallow lagoon (2 - 12 m). the lagoon itself consists of mostly sand sprinkled with coral bommies and rubble. closer to the pinnacles of no. 2 and 4 there're dense hard coral fields. the outer sides of koh haa 2 and 4 have colourful walls with sea fans, many cracks and overhangs teeming with fish life. a school of yellowtail barracudas is usually somewhere around, you might see a turtle grazing on the bubble corals and banded sea snakes looking for prey. from january on this is also a great spot to find ornate ghost pipe fishes in all colours.
visibility: 10 - 30 m depths: 0 - 30+ m currents: mild to moderate levels: all great for snorkeling!
