the anemone reef: this small dive site is a huge lime stone pinnacle that soars 30 m up from the ocean floor to sit 4 m beneath the surface where it abruptly ends and drops back to a sandy bottom. as colourful as shark point it is covered over and over with soft corals, seafans swing in the currents and the entire shallow top is covered with anemone. the waters around are magnet to a constant parade of reef fish seeking food and shelter. enormous schools of tropical fishes, snappers, fusiliers, mackerels, big groupers, moray eels, clown fishes along with barracudas and tunas further in the blue. as in shark point the leopard shark can be encountered resting in the sandy vicinity of this reef.
visibility: 10 - 20 m depths: 5 - 25 m currents: moderate - strong level: good beginners - advanced
